While I was serving as a Stake Missionary, Marilyn and I had an important talk with Bishop Byron Turner.  We also started seeing (at my suggestion) marriage counsellors (psychiatrists) starting with Lyman Condie who had impressed me as he gave a talk to our Latter- Day Sigs study group at Russ Ballard’s home.  I made an appointment to see him and he said I would have to bring Marilyn into the conversations which I did and thus started many years of our seeing various marriage counsellors.
