CRW’s mother had a fun and engaging club of friends. Every Wednesday, the Bridge Club met. Every Tuesday, the Sewing Club met. It wasn’t simply the women who were friends. The husbands and their children all were involved. CRW didn’t realize until he was much older that these people weren’t all his biological “Aunts” and “Uncles.” They were lifelong friends of the entire family.
