“Hotel Utah– dedicated in 1910, this hotel was one of the finest in the western United States. When a dignitary came to Salt Lake City they were always stay at this hotel. It ended up being owned by the LDS Church who decided to convert it to an office building and reception center rather than spend a lot of money remodeling in when it needed to be remodeled. I have many fond memories of being at this hotel for Saturday dinner (when I was a youth).”
