CRW’s father with helpers tears down kitchen at Holiday Park cabin.  CRW’s mother cooks all of the family’s meals out of door on a cast iron stove which is shielded from the bad weather by the use of a canvas tarp stretched over the stove.

Twin Girls

When CRW was about 4 years old, his mother, Florence Campbell Williams was pregnant with twin girls. Unfortunately, they were stillborn. Nearing the end of her life in 1983, FCW exclaimed that she could “see the twins.”

Fun Fact: Gilbert W Williams was named the chairman of a major committee to raise money for the unemployed using theatrical performances at various theaters. This appointment was made by Governor Dern and was part of a national program created by President Hebert Hoover in 1930.
